Suspect caught ‘red handed’ after vandalizing Dripping Springs City Hall

Late into the night on Tuesday, March 9 and into the early morning hours of Wednesday March 10, Dripping Springs City Hall was the target of vandalism. A window was broken and “offensive” words were spray-painted in red on the exterior walls of City Hall. The often profane words accused the city of racism along with other messages such as “Black Lives Matter,” “Anarchhy (sic)” and “city of racists.”

How Wimberley Water battled the freeze

In Wimberley, the occurrence of weather significantly below freezing is rare. The first thing to worry about is busted pipes. When temperatures neared zero-degrees last month, there were plenty of issues, including the since-rescinded boil water notices. As essential workers do, those at the Wimberley Water Supply Corporation showed up for work to do everything possible to combat the freeze.

Concert fundraiser in Dripping Springs helping Texas Farmers

Organizations from across Central Texas announced they will partner together to support the Texas Strong Relief Concert at Dreamland, the new outdoor entertainment, recreation and arts venue in Dripping Springs, on Saturday, March 13 with 100% of the profits from ticket sales and donations benefiting the Texas Farmer Winter Storm Relief fund.
