The official ribbon-cutting celebration for Wimberley’s long-awaited public restroom and parking complex will be held Sunday, Oct. 23 from 3-5 p.m. The event is free and open to the public and will include live music and refreshments provided by local restaurants and businesses.
The Texas Ethics Commission fined Mark Jones, Hays County Commissioner Pct. 2 and Republican candidate for County Judge, $500 for campaign finance violations.

Approximately 90 students attended Blue Hole Primary School’s annual bike rodeo event on Saturday, October 15th. The event promotes bike and tricycle safety and encourages students to get out and ride on the ample hardtops that surround the BHP campus. BHP staff also distributed helmets to students that were remaining from past bike rodeo events.
The groundbreaking for a $6.5 million expansion was held for the Wimberley Village Library last week and fundraising continues for an additional renovation project.

It wasn’t just another small town Sunday night this weekend. If you listened closely, you might have heard some howling at the moon in the Wimberley Valley at Blue Hole Regional Park.
