As outlined in a speech given on June 16 during an installment ceremony, he stated, “It is my desire this year as president of our club to continue its distinguished tradition of service to our community under a theme ‘Our Time to Shine’.” He said that Lions will shine by having a deep, abiding conviction to serve, by making connections and having effective communication, by having courage to implement innovative projects, and by showing compassion.
