Texan Swim Team competes at district 14-4A meet

Texan Swim Team competes at district 14-4A meet

The Wimberley HS swim team traveled to San Antonio on January 19th for the District 14-4A Championship meet. This year WHS only fielded a girls team and competed against swimmers from Comal Davenport, La Grange, Comal Canyon Lake, and Hallettsville. Despite having no seniors on the team, the girls competed admirably, finishing second in the team standings and qualifying for regionals in seven individual slots and three relays. On Tuesday The Lady Texans had an off day but they scheduled a non-district home game against the Burnett Lady Bulldogs (26-8) who are currently first in their district.
