Supporting Millonzi for Hays County Constable Precinct 3

I am so pleased my friend Colonel (Ret) Cynthia Millonzi is running for Hays County Constable—Precinct 3! Let me tell you about her. Cynthia is a Veteran who served our country for 30 years in increasingly responsible positions, rising from Private to (full bird) Colonel. During her career, she led multiple commands in addition to filling significant staff positions in operations, logistics, and human resources. She led teams successfully in Iraq. And, in her role with the National Guard, she deployed teams of first responders to aid those adversely affected by Rita/Katrina, the Bastrop fires, and the Wimberley Memorial Day floods. Her Human Resources skills will be an asset in giving staff the support, development, and encouragement they need to perform optimally. Her previous management of multi-million-dollar military budgets equips her to take charge of the Constable’s budget, ensuring adequate funding and resources for the office. She brings a fresh perspective that will support collaboration with community members, local businesses, nonprofit organizations and the City Council in redefining the role of Constable to include the full range of law enforcement activities required by statute and needed to make our community a nice, safe place to live. I know her best from her charitable work in Wimberley. As President of Imagine Wimberley, she led the organization’s quick response to the COVID-19 crisis, providing volunteer support to those in need, PPE to health care workers, and recognition to first responders. She is a leader and a patriot who has committed her life to service. There is no one better qualified to serve as our Precinct 3 Constable. Please vote for Cynthia! You won’t regret it.

There’s so much talk about the upcoming presidential election, but many important down-ballot races have gone underlooked, like the constable election for Precinct 3 in Wimberley. I am supporting Cynthia Millonzi for Constable and I would encourage everyone to do the same. Cynthia’s entire life has been dedicated to service and she will bring her passion for service and helping the community to the Constable’s office.

From serving in Iraq to managing efforts to rebuild after the Bastrop fires, Cynthia has consistently put service above self. She is a qualified candidate who is ready to tackle the issues that the Precinct 3 office faces.

Cynthia’s experience with leading servicemembers, managing personnel, and maintaining budgets make her a well-rounded candidate for Constable.

It’s also refreshing to see a political candidate in Hays County take the No Fossil Fuel Money Pledge. Cynthia is the only candidate in the race for Constable Precinct 3 to take the No Fossil Fuel Money pledge, meaning that she will not take contributions over $200 from fossil fuel executives and PACs.

I encourage everyone to vote for Cynthia Millonzi for Constable on November 3rd so Precinct 3 can restore trust and integrity to the office and elect a qualified and well-rounded leader.

In Hays County the duties of a Constable are wide-ranging and demanding. A Constable supports all law enforcement agencies — and much more. The ideal candidate must be a take-charge person dedicated to public service.

That, in a nutshell, is why Cynthia Millonzi is the perfect fit for Precinct 3 Constable. Millonzi is unwavering in her commitment to public service. Her entire adult life she served our nation and our communities.

The 30-year U.S. Army and civil service veteran retired as a Colonel, after serving in Iraq and earning numerous awards including a Bronze Star for Service, the Global War on Terrorism Medal, and a Humanitarian Service Medal. She knows how to get things done in the toughest situations. And, can work with people on all sides of the fence.

As Director of Support Operations for TexasMilitary Forces she managed emergency operations for Hurricane Katrina and Rita, the Bastrop fires, and the Wimberley Memorial Day floods. She oversaw and coordinated, with other military service branches, a $92 million budget. With ease and calm.

After living and working all over the U.S. she chose to retire in the Wimberley Valley. Yet she never sat back. As she settled into our community (during the Memorial Day floods), she found ways to serve and help those in need. When Covid hit, she combined her experience with emergency operations to chair a local group, Imagine Wimberley. The 501c3 does whatever needs to be done to help local residents, from handing out masks, to driving people to medical appointments, to dropping off food, and even helping out with essential home repairs.

Cynthia has it all. Determination. Commitment. Ethics. People skills. Leadership. Management. And love for our community. That’s why I’ll vote for Millonzi4Constable.
