Supporting Holtsinger for WISD

Gretchen Holtsinger is the right choice for the Wimberley ISD Board of Trustees, place 3. Gretchen has been an educator for 26 years and has a heart for the teachers and students of Wimberley. Before retirement, she served as a professional educator and administrator. Now, she desires to use the knowledge she has gained throughout her career to serve the Wimberley community. Wimberley needs leaders who truly care about everyone in our community and Gretchen has committed to represent the diverse viewpoints that exist within our community. She has experience servicing diverse communities in her time as a classroom teacher, coach, associate principal, and instructional specialist.

I have worked alongside Gretchen for over a year now and she continues to impress me with her kind but bold spirit. She is extremely intelligent and truly wants to serve this community. Her candidacy for WISD Board of Trustees, place 3, isn’t about herself, it is about caring for the teachers, staff, parents, and students of WISD. She will work hard to ensure all student’s needs are being met and that teachers have the support they need to do their jobs. She will encourage parent involvement and bring an educator’s voice to the board.
