Good Morning Wimberley! I would like to thank each and every one of you who have been patiently supporting the progress of the sewer collection system being installed. I understand that some of you may still have questions and concerns about the timing, cost and activation of the service to include the opportunity for use of the reclaimed water for our parks and common areas of the Wimberley Valley. Therefore, I have scheduled a formal public hearing to discuss the project changes made to the Texas Water Development Board, the potential environmental impact, the alternatives to the proposed changes and the economic impact on rate payers. All interested parties, to include residents outside the city limits in the Wimberley Valley are invited and will have an opportunity to be heard. Following the Public Hearing I have also scheduled an interactive Town Hall meeting to be held Thursday, January 10th beginning at 5:30 pm. During the Town Hall meeting consolidated answers to questions and concerns from the public hearing will be provided along with the growth and expansion of other areas of interest to the public.
