Letters of Support

Let’s talk about “watchdog.” A watchdog’s job is to protect. It is a very trusted creature and is given the responsibility to guard. Chad Canine is running for the school board position to do just that. To protect our teachers, children, and district as a whole from outside influences that distract from academics.

Chad knows our teachers need support and he is constantly volunteering his time to help out at Blue Hole Primary School. You might even see him at a PTO meeting (he is easy to spot as the only male). Teachers that know Chad, know they can trust him to give of his time and energy to support them and the many activities that require parent volunteers. Chad is an ally to the teachers and this district. He moved his family here because he knows how great our school district and town are! He came to support it, not “confront” it. He plans to listen to teachers’ needs, add additional resources, and fight for raises so that our amazing teachers can continue to develop children in a high-quality educational setting.

Chad believes that parents have the right to decide what is best for their child. Unfortunately, we are seeing many school districts across the nation overstep their boundaries and make decisions against the parents’ will. I have had great experiences in 3 different WISD schools. But it would be unwise, given the current status of many school districts, for me to assume that things will stay the same here without people intentionally watching out to protect our children and teachers. I feel secure knowing that Chad is looking out for the best interest of our children, teachers, and community. Please vote for Chad Canine, “Wimberley’s Watchdog”!
