Fentanyl issues stem from the top

In light of the recent Wimberley View article regarding the tragic deaths of young Hays County students due to fentanyl overdoses I’d like to weigh in on this awful topic with all due respect to the grieving parents, friends and family of those who have died. There is little doubt where this dangerous drug is coming from-not pharmacies, not home labs, but more than likely from China via our disgraceful “open border” policy. Our federal government is charged with one supreme duty, protecting the citizens of this nation and by allowing millions of undocumented individuals to cross our border without any vetting is now creating an epic disaster in our state and nation. When our border patrol agents are ordered to stand down so that federal agents can open border gates allowing undocumented people to enter our nation illegally this is nothing short of a foreign invasion, and now the consequences are showing up in the form of increased crime, increased diseases and, tragically, increased drug deaths. Make no mistake, cartels are one of the main forces behind this invasion and if you think they care about human life rather than profit at any cost you are sadly mistaken. Take note of who is “in charge” of this catastrophe as come Nov, the decision to change it is in our hands!
