Forget and Forget

“Forgive and Forget” or “Forgive and Move On”?...... Whatever your answer to the question, the process requires personal courage and begins with “Forgive”. Defined as to absolve or grant pardon from an offense, Forgiveness is a process. It takes place over time and is not a single act. What we forgive, we release and in doing so discover that forgiveness releases us from the ties of Anger and FEAR, False Evidence Appearing Rational. FEAR released will enable us to begin to Understand rather than Seek to be Understood. Last week, I started this discussion about why feeling good about ourselves is important. Forgive ourselves and Forgive others and the Wimberley Community can begin the process of feeling good about itself again. We need to Stop and Think about where we are as a Community and have the personal courage to Forgive. I am sorry that if my direct manner has offended any of you. I was thinking only about myself and the dreadful situation that this Downtown Sewer presents to my family. I will continue to present Scientific Information and Data in a professional manner and attempt to dispel FEAR when appropriate. I have decided to “Forgive past offenses and Move On”. It is my Hope that many of you will try to do so too. Dr. Seuss tells us “Think left and think right and think low and think high. Oh, the thinks you can think up if only you try!”
