Boy Scout Troop 127 helps clean up Padre seashore

Wimberley Scout Troop 127 participated in the 2022 Billy Sandifer Beach Cleanup at the Padre National Seashore earlier this year. They joined a group of over 500 volunteers in removing 30 tons of trash from a 25-mile stretch of Padre Island. The day started wet and dreary and deteriorated from there. Market Days on busy July fourth weekend

One of the many special events happening in Wimberley this coming Fourth of July weekend is Wimberley Market Day on Saturday the 2nd. WMD will be in full-swing with hundreds of vendors selling their one-of-a-kind treasures and crafts. Concession stands will be stocked with ice-cold drinks and tasty treats including the popular bar-B-que at Concession #9. Also, the Wimberley Lions Club haulers will be available to help shoppers transport large purchases to their vehicles.
