WYSA Softball sends three All Star teams
WYSA Softball All Stars also for the first time sent three teams, 8U,10U and 12U.
The 8U and 10U teams competed in the Austin Area Sectionals on June 14 and 15th. They played multiple Austin area select teams battling to the title but did not place into the regional tournament.
A lot of time was spent preparing for the tournament with practices and warm up games.
The girls did a great job and gained lots of experience and knowledge from this opportunity. The coaches and parents are very proud of their improvements and dedication.
The 12U team had a great weekend but not how you would think. Sectionals, showed the girls what kind of softball was really about and taught them a lot. Though they came up short, because of their great attitude, sportsmanship and fight to win the girls received a special invite to another tournament. The sky is the limit for these amazing fighters and WYSA couldn’t be more proud of them to represent Wimberley Texans.
