VIEW SPORTS MOST CLUTCH TEXAN

Stoever was the unsung hero on this year’s Texan football team with his precise route running, highlight reel catches/punt returns were a joy to watch. Not bad for a player who was the third option in the Texan football offense as a junior. After a summer of working out with close friend Weeks, he elevated his game to amazing heights and became a nightmare for opposing offenses. Not to mention his MVP-season in basketball where he only played about half the season due to a broken hand suffered in football. His cold blooded three-pointer at the buzzer to eliminate Houston Stafford in the second round of the basketball playoffs was one of the most memorable plays of the year.

Whenever the game was on the line, Chris Farias had no problem handing the ball to one of the best pitchers Wimberley softball has ever seen.

Over the course of her career, Bayleigh Grogan has changed the culture of the sport at the school by pacing the Texans in strikeouts and innings pitched. Not to mention, Grogan also led the Lady Texans to their first state ranking. She will leave Wimberley as the career leader in most of the pitching statistical categories.
