Lady Texans turned it around

The Wimberley Lady Texan basketball team (8-7) traveled to Marble Falls to take on the Lady Mustangs (1-12).

The Texans jumped out to a small three point lead at the end of the first quarter but really got things going in the second outscoring the Mustangs by 13 to take a 16-point lead into halftime.

In the second half, the Texans started right where they left off holding the Mustangs to five points in the third quarter and 11 in the fourth to win on the road 58-35.

The Lady Texans have turned their season around starting off with a 2-6 record now finding themselves at 9-7 and will test their talent as they will travel to Fredericksburg to take on the top team in the district, the Lady Billies (15-3), at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
