Wimberley has lost another of its long ago citizens.
William B Egger was born January 28, 1929 in Wimberley.
He fought in the Korean war and the went back to Korea in civil service and there he earned many letters of commendation from his superiors and completed and earned many certificates from classified information to nuclear energy.
From Korea he returned to Ft. Hood from which he retired with a rank of GS 12.
Mr. Egger died August 17, 2020. He is survived by his wife Lee Egger and four children: William Y. Egger, William F. Egger, Linda High and Dennis Egger. He was the son of Fred Egger and Georgia Wagner Egger.
