Shane Ball

Shane Ball, 34, of Huntsville and Wimberley, Texas passed away on Monday, May 24, 2021 after being in the ICU unit for eight and a half weeks due to complications caused by Covid. Shane was born at Ft. Sam Houston in San Antonio on September 6, 1986 to Ted and Becky Ball. He grew up in Wimberley and attended Scudder Elementary School, The Master’s School in San Marcos, Danforth Junior High then Wimberley High School. Shane loved playing football for the Wimberley Texans. After graduating from WHS, he attended UMHB in Belton where he met the love of his life, Danielle. He also attended Temple College in Temple then moved to Corpus Christi. While working for McCoy’s in Corpus he and Danielle were reacquainted and married, on January 21, 2009. Shane and Dani then moved to Huntsville where she is from to work for TDCJ.

Shane was a man of integrity, if he told you that he would do something then he would do it. He was very active in his community and with his friends. He was loved and respected by all. His wife Danielle was his love and he adored his two daughters. His family was his life.

Shane was preceded in death by his father, Ted Ball of Wimberley. He is survived by his wife, Danielle, daughters Varra and Levi of Huntsville, mother Becky Ball of Wimberley, a brother, three sisters and many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends that he loved very much.

Celebration of Shane’s life will be held on Wednesday, June 2 at Cypress Creek Church in Wimberley.
