Paula King

Paula Dianne King, of Wimberley, Texas, loving mother and grandmother, passed away Saturday, January 9, 2021 at the age of 72.

Paula was born December 28, 1948 in Dallas to Ernest and Edna Roberts. She had a passion for gardening and reading. She also loved researching her family history and was in the process of tracing her lineage when she passed away.

The town of Wimberley was a place she loved and could often be seen walking the shops or eating in the local restaurants. Paula was also active in the Republican Group, the Wimberley Community Civic Club and a Secretary of the Xi Alpha Beta Beta Sorority of Beta Sigma Phi. She attended Wimberley United Methodist Church.

Paula was preceded into death by her husband John, parents Ernest and Edna, and her brother Jeff. She is survived by her daughter Jennifer and husband Ken of Forney, Texas; stepson Michael and wife Susan of McKinney, Texas; stepson Johnny and wife Maura of Tulsa, Okla.; stepson Ben and wife Erin of Keller, Texas; sister Catherine and husband Jerry of Quinlan, Texas; and 12 grandchildren.

A viewing will be held at Thomason Funeral Home in Wimberley on Friday, January 15 from 4 to 8 p.m.
