    PAM CORDRAY

Pamela Cordray

February 25, 1953 – January 20, 2021

Pam Cordray, 67, passed away peacefully in her home in Wimberley on January 20, 2021, due to complications from her nearly 40- year battle with Multiple Sclerosis. She was born in Baytown, Texas, graduated from Ross S. Sterling High School and attended Lee College. She was a member of Cedar Bayou United Methodist Church and the Order of the Eastern Star.

Pam was a beautiful, caring, creative person that enjoyed working with her hands. She loved her dogs dearly and enjoyed watching the deer in her backyard in the afternoons. Always an optimist, she had the ability to find humor even after her difficult diagnosis. She loved a cold Dr Pepper and a big slice of pecan pie. Despite the obstacles that she faced, she never complained. Her fondest memories were of the years she spent as a room mother and a softball cheerleader for her two daughters. She left a lasting impression with all who knew her and will be greatly missed.

She was preceded in death by her father, Lewis Howell. She is survived by her husband, Dennis Cordray; mother, Doris Howell of Sikes, Louisiana; daughter and son-in-law, Kara and Todd Sugimoto, of Los Angeles, California; and daughter and son-in-law, Kristy and Matt Crisp, of San Marcos, Texas.

The family is grateful to Hope Hospice for their loving assistance.

The funeral was held on Sunday, January 24th at 4:00 p.m. at Thomason Funeral Home in Wimberley. There will be a private burial at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, those who desire may make donations in her memory to The Baytown Humane Society at P.O. Box 2772, Baytown, Texas 77522-2772.
