Joyce Ann Lamb

Joyce Ann Lamb, age 74, passed away on Saturday, October 23, 2021 in Wimberley, Texas. Joyce was born on May 25, 1947 in Porter, Texas to James Lamb and Birdie Clyde Lamb. Growing up in Tyler, Texas, she graduated from John Tyler High School and lived in several cities in Texas before moving to San Antonio in 1996 to live with the Ward family. Having visited Wimberley many times, Joyce moved there in 2008. Most recently she has lived at Deer Creek of Wimberley.

Joyce loved nature and being outdoors. She especially enjoyed flowers and spending time with friends. Wherever she lived, Joyce was active in her church. She loved God and found a wonderful church family at Cypress Creek Church in Wimberley.

Joyce is survived by her surrogate family, Bill and Lauren Ward of Wimberley and Norman and Beverly Dugas of San Antonio, as well as many long time friends.

A memorial service will be held to honor Joyce’s life on Tuesday, November 9 at 1:00 pm at Cypress Creek Church in Wimberley.
