KWB makes the Cypress bridge sparkle for the season
Perhaps you saw the Cypress Creek the first thing Monday morning, or you were lucky enough to see Keep Wimberley Beautiful making their magic on a sunny Sunday afternoon. But really, most of the work to get the decorations ready for the Cypress Creek bridge was done ahead of time.
“It was about three hours of preparation time, behind the scenes, getting things ready for now,” KWB volunteer Jim Miller said. The bridge is now all decked out with boughs, ribbons, and holiday ornaments, keeping the tradition of the decorated bridge alive, even during these times.
About a dozen volunteers spent their Sunday afternoon keeping Wimberley living up to their motto, “a little bit of heaven.”
