Market Days is back again
Once again, the Wimberley Lions Club was given permission to open Market Day, happening on Saturday, November 7. Last month, Lions Field was teeming with visitors who were happy with the re-opening. Naturally, all necessary safety measures were taken then, and the same measures will be observed in November.
Lion President, Bobby Burris, said, “We are very pleased to receive the go ahead to reopen in November after such a successful market day in October. All of our success is from the synchronized efforts of each and every part of our club. There is always a great feeling we receive after a successful market day, but this euphoria is heightened that much more because of the challenges we are facing now. I am very proud to represent the Wimberley Lions Club as president and I am truly honored to be a part of such a fine club as this. We are serving this community, especially now. Here is hoping for a good day in November. Roar!”
Volunteers from the community are definitely needed to make November’s Market Day successful. Anyone interested in volunteering should contact the Volunteer Coordinator, Terry Wicke, at [email protected].
November’s shopping hours are from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Lions Field is located off FM 2325, about a mile from the Wimberley Square. For more information, follow them on Facebook at Wimberley Market Days-Lions Club.
