June Louise Brand

June Louise Brand, 79, long time resident of Driftwood, Texas, passed away, peacefully, Sunday, January 27th 2019, in her home that she loved dearly.

June Bauer, originally from Columbus Ohio, was born on the 4th of November, 1939. She was the daughter of Elizabeth and Lewis Roberts, raised in El Paso, Texas, who both preceded her in death. She had 3 children, Christopher Michael Roach, Jeanette Rene Maietta (husband Hank), and Deanne Denise Parker (husband Steve). Her grandchildren included Holly Deanne Chasse (husband Patrick) and Travis Michael Hallman. She has great-grandchildren, including her beloved Hannah. Her siblings include Sharon Chad-wick (husband Ron), Sandra DeVall (husband Wes), Lorna Gaddy (husband Chuck), Tonya Roberts-Hindes and the Bill Garner family in Chicago. She was the Aunt for 8 children and Great-Aunt for 4 children.

June resided in El Paso, Texas where she worked for the El Paso Police Department and Eureka, until she retired and moved to Austin, Texas in 1996. She enjoyed collecting Antique glassware and Swarovski (or Savorski as Junie would say) Crystals. She loved her pets Bonnie, Barney, and Chuckie, and her family.

A memorial service was held for June (Junie) on Tuesday, February 5th, 2019.

To commemorate June, her family asks that donations be made to the Down Syndrome Association of Central Texas (DSACT), in honor of Travis Hallman, 3710 Cedar St., Au-stin, TX 78705.
