Wimberley Gold Santa Toy Drive kickoff

Wimberley Gold Santa is kicking off its annual toy drive and is accepting new and unwrapped toys through December 14th.

Wimberley Gold Santa distributes toys and local grocery store gift cards to families with children ages infant through 8th grade that participate in the reduced fee food programs in the Wimberley Independent School District (WISD). We also coordinate with KAPS, Crisis Bread Basket, Barnabas and several local Churches to indentify other families that are outside WISD that need assistance. Applications are available through these organizations. This program has been in place and served the Wimberley Community since 1982! Over 300 kids and 100+ families are helped each year with this program!

Toy Donation Boxes are located around town at Ace Hardware, Broadway Bank, Brookshire Brothers, Country Fresh Cleaners, Cragg’s Do It Best, Mima’s, Ozona National Bank, St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Texas Regional Bank, Village of Wimberley Library, Wimberley café, Wimberley Chamber of Commerce, Wimberley Community Center and Wimberley Home Health. Donation Jars are located at Inoz, Instyle, Linda’s Fine Foods, The Wooden Spoon and Wimberley Gardens.

Monetary donations can be sent to P.O. Box 1, Wimberley, TX 78676. (Wimberley Gold Santa is a 501 (c) (3) organization). Toys or monetary donations can also be dropped off at the Century 21 Randall Morris & Associates office in Wimberley at the corner of Ranch Road 12 and FM 3237.
