Wimberley Dance Elite brings home multiple awards
Wimberley Dance Elite’s Elite Dance Company participated in the ASH (Artists Simply Human) Performance Showcase February 21-23. The EDC (Elite Dance Company) represented Wimberley in 42 dances covering 7 different dance genres. The dancers participated in master classes from renown dancers and choreographers, where they worked dance technique and performance skills in the genres of hip hop, contemporary, ballet, tap, jazz funk, fusion, improv, and musical theater. The Elite Dance Company brought home the following standout awards and scholarships:

• Brenna Adaire and Aurora Harrison Duo-Special Award and Studio Selection
• Junior EDC Team’s Paris in the Rain-choreography Award (choreographed by Lindsey Gerson)
• Senior EDC Team’s Kill This Love-Choreography Award (choreographed by April Hobson)
• Junior EDC Team-Studio of the Week
WDE would like to congratulate Brenna Adaire for earning a scholarship for the Nationals Convention. WDE would also like to recognize the following dancers for being chosen as Semi-Finalists for the Assistants in Training: Senior Team Member Addyson Hoffman and Junior Team Members Katelyn Talley, Presley Willis, Adeline Yeary and Aurora Harrison. Congratulations to Adeline Yeary! She won an ASH Apprenticeship, which include a full scholarship for any regional scholarship, full convention scholarship for ASH Nationals, $150 discount on the Company Intensive at ASH Nationals, the opportunity to audition to become an ASH Assistant at Nationals, and a full scholarship to 2 Days in OC Dance Intensive.
