Two seniors recognized in national merit program

Wimberley High School seniors Ava Armstrong and Tate Murphy have been named Commended Students in the 2022 National Merit Scholarship Program. WHS Principal Jason Valentine presented both with a Letter of Commendation from the National Merit Scholarship Corporation on Thursday.
Armstrong and Murphy are two of approximately 34,000 Commended Students across the United States, and achieved the recognition by scoring highly on the 2020 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT).
