Rotary Loves Readers junior high winners announced

The Rotary Club of Wimberley is happy to announce the winner and runner up of the 3rd Danforth Rotary Loves Readers contest of the school year. This challenge asked students to read a biography of their hero, then compare their hero’s strengths, challenges, flaws and achievements. We had a tie for runner up between Jack Malone with his entry on Albert Einstein, and Madeleine Smith with her entry on Mr. Fred Rogers. Jack and Madeleine shared the $50 prize. The winner of a crisp $100 bill was 6th grader, Hayden Hall, for his entry on Abraham Lincoln. Congratulations to Hayden, Jack and Madeleine.
