Rotary Loves Readers contest winners

The Rotary Club of Wimberley is happy to announce the winner and runner up of the 1st Danforth Rotary Loves Readers contest of the school year. The contest asked students to consider what elements make a book the perfect read for a vacation, then use as an example the student’s favorite book from this past summer break. The runner up with her entry about “The Hunger Games” was 7th grader, Emerson Grace Davis (right). Emerson received $50. The winner of a crisp $100 bill was 8th grader Kennedy Carson (left) with her entry about “The Summer I Turned Pretty.”
