Pear Duo and Peter the Adequate headline the Wimberley Players New Year’s Eve Bash

The Wimberley Players usher in 2020 by proudly hosting two stellar acts. The piano/vocal project taking Wimberley by storm, Pear Duo shares the marquee with comedy magician, Peter the Adequate.

Comprised of Curtis Brengle and Julie Ragins, Pear Duo’s musicians have worked, recorded and toured the last 25 years with some of the greatest household names in music such as The Moody Blues, Sheena Easton, American Idol, Englebert Humperdinck, Sergio Mendes, the Pointer sisters, Ray Charles and more. Their rich, hypnotic sound and vocals embrace everything from Adele to Patsy Cline, Stevie Wonder and the great American Songbook. Following Pear Duo, comedy magician, Peter the Adequate, will amuse and amaze revelers with a performance that has thrilled fans for more than 35 years. Peter Hinrichs, who uses the stage name, Peter the Adequate, studied theater at the School of Performing and Visual Arts in San Diego and with members of the Royal Shakespeare Company at the University of California in Santa Barbara. He has delivered more than 250 different theatrical performances in Mexico, the USA and Canada, entertaining millions around the world with his magic.

Doors open at 6:00 pm and the party will wrap at 9:00, giving partiers plenty of time to attend another party or head home to watch the ball drop.
