Maxwell named Patriot of the Year
Tony Maxwell, with Maximum Wellness Chiropractic, was named the Patriot of the Year by the Wimberley VFW at the Patriot Day ceremony on September 11.
Maxwell has given back to both veterans and first responders in multiple ways over the years helping him earn the honors of Patriot of the Year.
He is the president of the board for Texas Style Giving, which formed the No Sauce Allowed BBQ team. The team has worked with the Wimberley VFW and multiple other local organizations to raise money for military families and Wimberley causes. The group also feeds military families during the holidays, and he hosted the Front Liner’s Feast helping feed local first responders during the COVID-19 lockdowns of 2020.
The Texas Style Giving nonprofit also helps veterans receive their benefits through the Veterans Administration. In addition to his work feeding and helping veterans, Maximum Wellness is an annual sponsor of the VFW Rodeo and the company hosts an annual Veteran’s Day fundraiser that donates 100% of the proceeds made on Veteran’s Day back to the Wimberley VFW Post.
Maxwell, his wife Leslie and three daughters Elma Jane, Catherine Anne and Taylor Marie, who was just born last month, were on hand at the Patriot Day Ceremony at EmilyAnn Theatre and Gardens in remembrance of September 11, 2001 over the weekend.
