LWV Debate in Wimberley

The League of Women Voters—Hays County is sponsoring a debate to be held on Oct. 15, 2018 at 6:30 p.m. at the Wimberley Community Center. The event will begin with a Meet and Greet at 6:00 p.m., giving attendees the chance to meet candidates and pick up literature in advance of the debate. The first debate will be between the candidates for Hays County Judge, followed by a debate between the candidates for Hays County Commissioner, Precinct 3. The next debate will be between candidates for the Wimberley Independent School District, followed by a debate between the candidates for Woodcreek City Council. The debates consist of questions to the candidates prepared by the League of Women Voters as well as questions from the audience. All candidates are given the opportunity to answer questions from the audience, with time limitations on the asking and answering of questions. It will be a full evening of candidate interaction.

Information on the candidates and the election is available through the Voters Guide published by the League of Women Voters, which will be available to the public on the night of the debate.
