Honoring Memorial Day at EmilyAnn Theatre and Gardens

The flags were raised at Veterans Memorial Park on top of EmilyAnn Theatre & Gardens on Monday, May
27.
Beyond the United States and Texas flags, there were flags for each branch of the armed forces and a flag honoring those who were prisoners of war or killed in action.
The annual ceremony also honored those who were killed in the Memorial Weekend Flood of 2015 in Wimberley. Reverend mentioned that honoring the local flood on Memorial Day had become a local tradition.
The Reserve Officer Training Corps from Lehman High School in Kyle were on hand to help with the proceedings.
