Herb Society’s Herb Fest a savory success

The sweet and appealing aroma hit you once you entered the building. The Herb Society’s Herb Fest was a delicious success. The Italian feast not only was a gourmet banquet, though. Nationally known chef and restaurateur Damian Mandola revealed secrets such as making pasta and Italian cooking recipes. About 150 herb lovers plus attended on Friday, November 2 at the Chapel of the Hills and entertained by Mandola’s stories, who is also owner of Driftwood’s Trattoria Lisina.
