The Rotary Club of Wimberley thanks H-E-B for their generous support of the chapter’s annual free book giveaway to all young people attending the Emily Ann Theatre Trail of Lights during the holiday season. For several years, the Wimberley Rotary has collected books for infants through young adults, and made them available at the Nadine’s Book Nook on the trail grounds. Rotarian Ann Rolling reports that attendance has grown to an average of 30,000 each year. Increased literacy is also a mission of H-E-B, and they donated several hundred books to this year’s event that will continue through New Year’s. Come by the trail to enjoy the lights and cheer, and make sure your child gets a free book.
