Register to Vote

Every Tuesday and Thursday in September, Wimberley Valley Radio and the League of Wimberley Voters Hays County will a voter registration event. The registration will occur at the patio at the Lumberyard on Tuesdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Thursdays from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Alzheimer’s Caregiver Meeting

The Alzheimer’s Caregivers Support Group will meet on Thursday, September 2nd, at 1:00 p.m. at the Presbyterian Church Library, 956 FM 2325, Wimberley. This is an opportunity for caregivers to meet together, ask questions and share information with other caregivers who are traveling this same journey. Jack & The Beanstalk by CTTA

This production of Jack and the Beantalk only has two remaining live performances for the general public, as it also tours throughout Central Texas playing at schools September 4,5 - all shows are at 2 p.m. You can purchase tickets online at www.centextheatre.org. Central Texas Theatre Academy is located at the Plaza del Sol Center.

Community Bible Study

For over 45 years, CBS has helped people understand God’s Word. CBS classes meet throughout the school year at First Christian Church, 3105 Ranch Road 12, San Marcos. Men, women, coeds, and children meet Tues evenings from 6:30–8:00 p.m. beginning Sept 7. Women and children meet Wed mornings from 10:00 a.m.–noon beginning Sept 8. Wimberley Community Bash

The Wimberley Education Foundation will host the annual Wimberley Community Bash on September 11 at The Waters Point. Daughters of the American Revolution meeting

Jacob’s Well Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution, meets at the Emily Ann Theater in Wimberley on September 13, 9 am for socializing and 10 am for our business meeting. For more information go to [email protected]

Bats and You!

It’s a bird. It’s a plane. NO! It’s a Bat! Join the city of Wimberley Parks and Recreation Department learn about the myths of bats, their crucial role in the Hill Country Ecosystem, and stay up late as we go view our local bat colony. The event will be held on September 18 from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Birdies For Business Golf Tournament

The Wimberley Valley Chamber of Commerce will host their annual fundraiser the Birdies For Business Golf Tournament. The tournament will be held on September 25. Breakfast tacos will be served at 8 a.m., Registration is at 8:30 a.m. Shotgun start at 9 a.m. and lunch at 12:30 p.m. Support local business by playing golf. Fantastic networking opportunities.

Music In the Air

On Saturday, September 25, the Wimberley Merchants Association will host Music in the Air will have live music all around the Wimberley Square. From noon until 5 p.m., five bands will play at five different locations downtown.
