Jack & The Beanstalk by CTTA

This production of Jack and the Beantalk only has four live performances for the general public, as it also tours throughout Central Texas playing at schools. August 28, 29 and September 4,5 - all shows are at 2 p.m. You can purchase tickets online at www.centextheatre.org. Central Texas Theatre Academy is located at the Plaza del Sol Center.

Community Bible Study

For over 45 years, CBS has helped people understand God’s Word. CBS classes meet throughout the school year at First Christian Church, 3105 Ranch Road 12, San Marcos. Men, women, coeds, and children meet Tues evenings from 6:30– 8:00 p.m. beginning Sept 7. Women and children meet Wed mornings from 10:00 a.m.–noon beginning Sept 8. Daughters of the American Revolution meeting

Birdies For Business Golf Tournament

The Wimberley Valley Chamber of Commerce will host their annual fundraiser the Birdies For Business Golf Tournament. The tournament will be held on September 25. Breakfast tacos will be served at 8 a.m., Registration is at 8:30 a.m. Shotgun start at 9 a.m. and lunch at 12:30 p.m. Support local business by playing golf! Fantastic networking opportunities.

Studio Tour

The Wimberley Valley Art League will host the annual Studio Tour on Saturday, September 25 from 10 till 5, and Sunday, September 26 from 11 a.m. untill 4 p.m. . Wimberley Area Cancer Support Group

If you have experienced the diagnosis of cancer now or in the past, we invite you to meet with the Cancer Support Group, sponsored by St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church, to talk and relax with others who share your experiences. Meetings are in the Chamber of Commerce members’ room, 11:30 AM - 1 PM on the second Wednesday of the month.

Wimberley Valley Museum

There are new hours for the Winters-Wimberley House/Wimberley Valley Museum. It will be open on the first weekend of month (Market Days Weekend) with docents Friday and Saturday 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. starting June 4 and 5.

Farmers Market

The Wimberley Farmers Market is open every Wednesday, 3 - 6:00 p.m. in the parking lot of the visitor center, 14100 RR 12. Call (512) 264-1637 for more information.

VFW Bingo

Transportation Gathering

Bring your car, motorcycle, pickup, or whatever, whether classic or not to the First Baptist Church parking lot the Second Saturday of each month from 8 a.m. until 12 noon. Coffee provided
