We Are Wimberley
Get to know some of the nonprofits in Wimberley with the Wimberley Village Library. On July 29, the library will host a Zoom at 11:30 a.m. with the Hays County Master Naturalist.
Nunsense
The Wimberley Players present Nunsense by Dan Goggin Directed by Jason Kruger. The play runs from July 30 through August 22. Shows are Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday at 2:30 p.m. Tickets can be purchased at wimberleyplayers.org.
Alzheimer’s Caregiver Meeting
The Alzheimer’s Caregivers Support Group will meet on Thursday, August 5 th, at 1:00 p.m. at the Presbyterian Church Library, 956 FM 2325, Wimberley. This is an opportunity for caregivers to meet together, ask questions and share information together. Wimberley Big Band
The Wimberley Big Band will play on August 7 at Market Day at the main pavilion from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. They will play old favorites from big band greats like Duke Ellington and Count Basie as well as new arrangements.
Women’s Center Auction and Fundraiser
On Saturday, August 7, the Hays Caldwell Women’s Center will host an Auction and Fundraising dinner at Embassy Suites in San Marcos. Go to hcwc.org for more information or to purchase tickets.
Back to School Fiesta
The Barnabas Connection will host the annual Back to School Fiesta on Saturday, August 14 from 10:30 a.m. to 1p.m. at Cypress Creek Church.
Book Sale
The Wimberley Village Library will host a book sale on Saturday, August 14 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sales include Fiction, Children’, American Interest, Retro, Biography, Classics, Religion/Self-help and more. More pop-up sales to come. Check the library montly for details on upcoming sales with new titles and categories.
Wimberley Masonic Lodge Sporting Clays Benefit

Daughters of the American Revolution meeting
Jacob’s Well Chapter of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution meets in Wimberley every second Monday. Members are women descended from American Revolutionary patriots. Wimberley Valley Museum
There are new hours for the Winters-Wimberley House/Wimberley Valley Museum. It will be open on the first weekend of month (Market Days Weekend) with docents Friday and Saturday 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. starting June 4 and 5.
