Charles Cavanaugh Guitar Concert

Shakespeare Under the Stars

State of the City Address

Wimberley Mayor Gina Fulkerson will be giving her annual State of the City Address at the Wimberley Valley Chamber of Commerce Luncheon. The luncheon will be held on July 21, 2021 at 11:30am at The Wimberley Community Center. RSVP required and the cost is $20 for Chamber members & $25 for non members. Shakespeare on the River

The Central Texas Theatre Academy’s Shakespeare on the River starts on July 29 through August 2 at either Blue Hole Regional Park or Landa Park in New Braunfels. For show times, visit centextheatre.org.

Wimberley Big Band

The Wimberley Big Band will play on August 7 at Market Day at the main pavilion from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. They will play old favorites from big band greats like Duke Ellington and Count Basie as well as new arrangements.

Women’s Center Auction and Fundraiser

Back to School Fiesta

The Barnabas Connection will host the annual Back to School Fiesta on Saturday, August 14 from 10:30 a.m. to 1p.m. at Cypress Creek Church.

Daughters of the American Revolution meeting

Jacob’s Well Chapter of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution meets in Wimberley every second Monday. Members are women descended from American Revolutionary patriots. Join their mission of historic preservation, patriotism and education in service to our community. Contact [email protected].

Wimberley Valley Museum

There are new hours for the Winters-Wimberley House/Wimberley Valley Museum. It will be open on the first weekend of month (Market Days Weekend) with docents Friday and Saturday 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. starting June 4 and 5.

Farmers Market

The Wimberley Farmers Market is open every Wednesday, 3 - 6:00 p.m. in the parking lot of the visitor center, 14100 RR 12. Call (512) 264-1637 for more information.

VFW Bingo

The Wimberley VFW Post 6441 hosts bingo on Friday nights. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. with food concession. Earlybird games start at 7:15 p.m. Regular games start at 8 p.m. For more information visit texasvfw.net/bingo.
