Hill Country Herb Society Meeting

On June 16, the Hill Country Herb Society will hold their June meeting at the Wimberley Presbyterian Church. Refreshments begin at 9:30 a.m. with a presentation on Kampot Pepper production in Cambodia starting at 10 a.m. Products will be available for purchase. Visitors are welcome.

A Radio Tribute to M.F. Johnson

Listen to M.F. Johnson talk about her life in her own spirited words Thursday (June 17) from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Wimberley’s radio station, KWVH, 94.3 FM or streaming on wimberleyvalleyradio.org. DuAnne Redus and Lynne Flocke will remember her stories and rebroadcast M.F.’s 2016 interview with DuAnne on her weekly radio show, “On River Time.”

Wimberley Metaphysical and Holistic Fair

The Wimberley Metaphysical and Holistic Fair will be held at the Wimberley Community Center on Saturday, June 26 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is free. The event is open to the public.

Shakespeare Under the Stars

EmilyAnn Theatre & Gardens will host the 24th annual Shakespeare Under the Stars Camp from Monday, June 28 through July 17 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. Students ages 12-18 years old, students from the class of 2020, and any SUS alumni. Shakespeare on the River

The Central Texas Theatre Academy begins Shakespeare on the River on June 28. It is a six-week intensive Shakespearean program for students ages 12-18, Monday - Friday 10am-4pm. For more information or to register, please email bridget@ centextheatre.org

Best Little Parade in Texas

The Wimberley Valley Chamber of Commerce is hosting the annual Best Little Parade in Texas on Monday, July 5. The Parade will start by lining up on 2325 in front of Katherine Anne Porter School, will progress on 2325 and turn right on to Ranch Road 12, continue through the Wimberley Square and end at South River and Stillwater. The parade begins at 10 a.m.

Wimberley Valley Museum

There are new hours for the Winters-Wimberley House/Wimberley Valley Museum. It will be open on the first weekend of month (Market Days Weekend) with docents Friday and Saturday 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. starting June 4 and 5.

Farmers Market

The Wimberley Farmers Market is open every Wednesday, 3 - 6:00 p.m. in the parking lot of the visitor center, 14100 RR 12. Call (512) 264-1637 for more information.

VFW Bingo

The Wimberley VFW Post 6441 hosts bingo on Friday nights. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. with food concession. Earlybird games start at 7:15 p.m. Regular games start at 8 p.m. For more information visit texasvfw.net/bingo.

Transportation Gathering

Bring your car, motorcycle, pickup, or whatever, whether classic or not to the First Baptist Church parking lot the Second Saturday of each month from 8 a.m. until 12 noon. Coffee provided
