Brown Santa Burger Fundraiser

WYSA Concert and BBQ

The Wimberley Youth Sports Association is holding a concert by Jesse Stratton Band and a barbecue fundraiser at Sonny Gold Fields on May 22 from 7 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Tickets are $35. More information at facebook.com/WYSASports.

Hill Country Community Band

The Hill Country Community Band will have a free outdoor concert on May 23 at the Blanco River Academy Covered Pavilion.

In-Person Sunday Worship Returns to St. Stephen’s Church

All are invited to St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church, 6000-A FM 3237, on Sunday, May 23 for their return to in-person, in-building worship services. Meet in the Courtyard shortly before 8:00 a.m. or shortly before 10:30 a.m. We will process to the Chapel at 8:00 a.m. and to the Sanctuary at 10:30 a.m. behind the Pentecost dove and Fr. Kevin Schubert playing his drum. The Gospel reading will be read in the language of your choosing: Spanish, French, German, Zulu, and English. After the 10:30 a.m. service, all are invited to pick up a takeout container of the Jordan Family BBQ to celebrate our return to in-building, in-person worship. You are also invited to wear red clothing, the color of Pentecost.

Disney’s Frozen, Jr. at CTTA

Disney’s Frozen, Jr features all of your favorite songs from the movie plus extra songs that were new to the Broadway musical. Your whole family will love experiencing Disney’s Frozen LIVE, with the opportunity to meet your favorite characters and get autographs after the show. The show runs on Wednesdays through Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. and 2 p.m. on Sundays from May 5 to May 23 at the Central Texas Theatre Academy located in Plaza Del Sol. Movies in the Park

Come out to Blue Hole Regional Park on May 28th for our next installment of Movies in the Park, featuring, The Goonies! Help us celebrate Memorial Day weekend and the beginning of the swim season by watching The Goonies in Blue Hole’s famous swimming area. Admission is $10 per circle and seat up to 8 folks. Space is limited so make sure to make a reservation soon! Starting at 7:00pm, Blue Hole will offer swimming to kick off the swim season and the movie will start at 8:00pm. You can continue swimming throughout the movie… if you dare! Movie goers are recommended to bring a blanket or lawn chairs to enjoy the movie. Alcohol and smoking are prohibited at Blue Hole Regional Park.
