Wimberley Garden Club Garden Art Sale

Celebrate the arrival of spring by adding one-of-a-kind birdhouses and shimmering beads to your landscape, each lovingly handcrafted by Wimberley Garden Club members and local artists. These unique creations, normally only available at the club’s annual garden tour, will be at Blanco Brew on RR 12 (in the Brookshire’s parking lot) from 8:30 am until sold out on Saturday, May 1. Proceeds benefit the club’s annual donations to local restoration, beautification and community gardening projects. The 2020 and 2021 tours had to be postponed due to Covid safety concerns. Blanco River Songwriter Festival Blanco River Academy presents the 5th Annual Blanco

Blanco River Academy presents the 5th Annual Blanco River Songwriter Festival Saturday, May 1st, 2021 at the Historic Fischer Dance Hall. This year’s line up includes: Christine Albert & Chris Gage, Jimmy “Daddy” Davis, Bonnie Montgomery & Beth Chrisman, Susan Gibson and Johnny Nicholas. This festival will go on rain or shine. Doors will open at 1 p.m. and music kicks off at 2 p.m.

Blue Hole Nature Camps

Blue Hole Nature Camp is back and better than ever. Starting in May, Blue Hole will be offering its summer day camp for the 5th year in a row! Kids ages 6-12 will be able to register for camp starting on March 1st. Registration closes one week (7 days) prior to the first day of each session. There is no swimming at the camp, however, kids will be wading in the creek at Blue Hole daily in the shade on hot summer days. Camp Sessions are offered Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, or Tuesday and Thursday. 3-day sessions are $120/camper and 2-day sessions are $80/ camper. Hours are from 8am – 3pm. Armed Forces Day

Movies in the Park

Come out to Blue Hole Regional Park on May 28th for our next installment of Movies in the Park, featuring, The Goonies! Help us celebrate Memorial Day weekend and the beginning of the swim season by watching The Goonies in Blue Hole’s famous swimming area. Admission is $10 per circle and seat up to 8 folks. Space is limited so make sure to make a reservation soon!
