Pearl of the Party at Wimberley Glassworks

Wimberley Glassworks will celebrate their 30th anniversary with Pearl of the Party on Saturday, Jun 11 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Celebrate with them to see their team of artisans create works of art before your eyes. Voyage through an art reveal adventure that opens a chest of memories and new collections.

Slaid Cleaves at Susanna’s Kitchen

On Thursday, June 16, Susanna’s Kitchen and Coffeehouse will host Slaid Cleaves at 7:30 p.m. Join them in welcoming back Slaid Cleaves back to the concert series at the Wimberley United Methodist Church. Doors open by 7 p.m. Cost: $25 at the door.

Wimberley Players Summer Movies at the Playhouse

The Wimberley Players will host a summer movie series at the Wimberley Playhouse. Movies will be shown outside. Concessions include popcorn, soft drinks, candy, coffee, beer and wine. The movie Moulin Rouge on June 17 and Princess Bride on June 18. Movies start at 8:30 p.m.

Katherine Anne Porter School Open House

The Katherine Anne Porter School will host an open house on June 24 and 25 or you can schedule an in person tour at KAPSchool.org.

Craft Camp

The Wimberley Village Library will host Craft Camp on June 25 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. It is a oneday, fun-filled camp for adults. Registration starts on June 10. Contact Pat Galvin at [email protected]

76th Annual VFW Rodeo

The 76th Wimberley VFW Rodeo will be held on July 1, 2 and 3rd at the Chester Franklin Rodeo Arena. To purchase tickets, visit vfw6441.com.

10th Annual July 4th Hometown Patriotic Concert

The 10th Annual July 4th Hometown Patriotic Concert will be presented by the Wimberley Community Chorus and the Hill Country Community Band at 3 p.m. on July 4th at the Wimberley First Baptist Church, located at 15951 Winters Mill Parkway. This concert will feature many patriotic musical favorites with the combined Chorus and Band, and is free to all!

Coffee and Cars at Blanco Brew

Coffee & Cars is held the First Sunday of every month at Blanco Brew, 14200 RR 12, in Wimberley from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Anyone with a hot rod, muscle car, sports car, exotic, classic truck or unique ride is welcome to come out and put your car on display.

Calling All Singers

Come join us as the Wimberley Community Chorus prepares to sing in the annual 4th of July Patriotic Concert with the Hill Country Community Band! Rehearsals begin on Tuesday, May 31st at 6:30 p.m. at Chapel in the Hills, Avey Hall, located at 14601 Ranch Road 12, Wimberley. All subsequent rehearsals will be held on Monday evenings in June, 6:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. All singers, please pre-register online at www.wimberleycommunitychorus.org. We strongly suggest all singers be vaccinated/boosted for Covid-19. Please bring proof of vaccinations to the first rehearsal. Masks will be optional while singing. VFW Bingo

Wimberley Valley Museum

There are new hours for the Winters-Wimberley House/Wimberley Valley Museum. It will be open on the first weekend of month (Market Days Weekend) with docents Friday and Saturday 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. starting June 4 and 5.

Adult Craft LAB with Wimberley Library

Adult Craft LAB is a year-round tinker and craft program for adults 18+. Classes are held virtually via Zoom. Class times: Wednesdays from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. unless otherwise noted. Class limit of 10 on a fist come, first-served basis. Supply kits are free and included with each class. Supply kits are available inside the library in the craft area Monday-Wednesday 1-6.

EASE Chair Exercises

Gentle Yoga
