Concert in the Park

The 10th annual Concert in the Park series is underway at Blue Hole Regional Park. Every Friday in April, live music will be played at the Blue Hole Swimming Area from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

I’m a Caregiver, Now What?

“I’m a Caregiver, Now What?” will be on Thursday, April 28, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. in McArthur Hall at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church, and will include lunch. There is no cost for the workshop or for lunch, but RSVP is required. Jane Wyatt will be the presenter. Her presentation will also include activities for memory care and eldercare recipients. Wimberley Texas Music Friendly Designation Ceremony

Come celebrate another Wimberley milestone on Friday, April 27 at 7 p.m. at Blue Hole! Don’t miss this short ceremony at Blue Hole as the City of Wimberley, Wimberley Valley Arts and Cultural Alliance (WVACA), and the Wimberley Music Friendly Advisory Committee accept the Texas Music Friendly designation for Wimberley from officials of the Governor’s Texas Music Office. The ceremony will take place during intermission at Concert in the Park.

KAPS Chili Cook-Off

Don’t miss Katherine Anne Porter School’s 6th annual Flavor and Fire Chili Cook-Off and Open House April 28, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The fundraiser supports KAPS, a free public charter high school serving students grades 9-12 from Wimberley and surrounding communities.

Library Expansion and Renovation Project Open House

The Wimberley Village Library will hold an open house on May 18 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. to show off the new library expansion and renovation plans.

Wimberley Area Cancer Support Group

If you have experienced the diagnosis of cancer now or in the past, we invite you to meet with the Cancer Support Group, sponsored by St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church, to talk and relax with others who share your experiences. Meetings are in the Chamber of Commerce members’ room, 11:30 AM - 1 PM on the second Wednesday of the month.
