Janneke Jobis-Brown Author Presentation

The Rustic Moon Book Shop will host an author presentation, Q&A and book signing event on April 16 from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Cactus Coffee Shop, 13620 Ranch Road 12. Local Wimberley Author Janneke Jobis-Brown will talk about her historical fiction book Following Shadows.

WIC Pie Social

The Wimberley Institute of Cultures Annual Pie Social will be held at the Winters-Wimberley House on April 23 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Raffle tickets for the additional quilts and other items can be purchased online at www. WimWic.org or at the WIC’s information table at Wimberley Ace Hardware on Saturday, April 2nd from 11- 2pm and Saturday, April 9th from 11-2 pm. Tickets will also be sold at the Pie Social. Butterfly Festival

EmilyAnn will host the annual Butterfly Festival on April 23. It will include butterfly releases, crafts, and activities including butterfly train. They will also have live music, a beautiful flight house, a bounce house, yummy concessions and lots more! For more information visit emilyann.org.

I’m a Caregiver, Now What?

“I’m a Caregiver, Now What?” will be on Thursday, April 28, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. in McArthur Hall at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church, and will include lunch. There is no cost for the workshop or for lunch, but RSVP is required. Jane Wyatt will be the presenter. Her presentation will also include activities for memory care and eldercare recipients. KOC Fish Fry

St. Mary’s Knights of Columbus will host the annual Friday fish fry starting March 4 through April 8 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. or until sold out. They will be serving the usual fried catfish, hushpuppies, cole slaw, beans, French fries and dessert. The plates are $15 each. To go or dinein options available at the church hall.

Rustic Moon Bookshop: The Writing Life Book Club

The Rustic Moon Bookshop hosts a Book Club that reads books written by authors about their writing lives and then discusses them via Zoom meetings. They meet the first Wednesday of each month from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Contact Aimee Luna at (512)629-0065 or via email at [email protected].
