Blue Hole Spring Break Camp

Sign up for the Blue Hole Spring Break Cam, which runs March 14 through 18 from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. All ages 6-12 are welcome. Blue Hole aims to foster an appreciation for nature and encourage campers to take an active role in stewardship of the environment around them while providing a fun and safe learning environment. DAR Monthly Meeting

City-wide Clean Up

Keep Wimberley Beautiful, the Lions Club and the city of Wimberley are hosting a city-wide clean up on Saturday, March 19, from 8 a.m. until 12 p.m. at the Lions Field on FM 2325.

Birdies for Business

Birds and Brew

Are you an aspiring birder who wants to learn more about birds? Join Blue Hole Regional park as they go on a bird outing through Blue Hole searching for feathered friends with aviary biologists from SWCA Environmental Consultants. Meet in the swimming area parking lot for coffee and conversation before the outing. Bring your own reusable mug or use the cups we provide. Kid-friendly binoculars will be provided but feel free to bring your own. The even starts at 8 a.m. on March 26.

RECURRING EVENTS KOC Fish Fry

St. Mary’s Knights of Columbus will host the annual Friday fish fry starting March 4 through April 8 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. or until sold out. They will be serving the usual fried catfish, hushpuppies, cole slaw, beans, French fries and dessert. The plates are $15 each. To go or dinein options available at the church hall.

Market Days

With nearly 500 booths, Wimberley Market Days is one of the biggest open-air markets in Texas. It is hosted by the Wimberley Lions Club. Market Days is held on the first Saturday of every month, March through December. For more information visit www.wimberleymarketday.com.

Rustic Moon Bookshop: The Writing Life Book Club

The Rustic Moon Bookshop hosts a Book Club that reads books written by authors about their writing lives and then discusses them via Zoom meetings. They meet the first Wednesday of each month from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Contact Aimee Luna at (512)629-0065 or via email at [email protected].

Wimberley Civic Club Spring Events

The Wimberley Community Civic Club has dozens of spring events ranging from card games, educational classes, specialty dinners and plenty more. Events run from January 20 through May. Sign up now before the events fill up at wimberleyccc.org.

Wimberley Area Cancer Support Group

If you have experienced the diagnosis of cancer now or in the past, we invite you to meet with the Cancer Support Group, sponsored by St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church, to talk and relax with others who share your experiences. Meetings are in the Chamber of Commerce members’ room, 11:30 AM - 1 PM on the second Wednesday of the month.

Wimberley Valley Museum

There are new hours for the Winters-Wimberley House/ Wimberley Valley Museum. It will be open on the first weekend of month (Market Days Weekend) with docents Friday and Saturday 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. starting June 4 and 5.
