Hill Country Unit of the Herb Society of America

The Hill Country Unit of the Herb Society of America meets the third Wednesday of every month from 9:30 a.m. - 12 p.m. at the Wimberley Presbyterian Church. Our monthly meetings feature: herb related topics, recipes, workshops, day trips, and plenty of camaraderie. Visitors are alwayswelcome! Refreshments provided. StoryFest

Purveyors of all manner of tales and tunes, posey and scripted palaver will tout their talents at StoryFest 2022 on Feb. 17-20 at five venues in Wimberley sponsored by Wimberley Valley Arts and Cultural Alliance (WVACA). Tickets are now on sale for the festival, the second of its kind here, at www.wimberleystoryfest.org.

The Really Chili Cook-Off 2022

The Hill Country Cookoff Association will host The Really Chili Cook-Off at Cypress Falls on February 19. There will be live music, vendors. Free entry to the public. Sample Packets $5.

Dripping Springs Wild Game Dinner

The 32nd annual Dripping Springs Wild Game Dinner will be held on February 19 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Dripping Springs Ranch Park. In addition to the dinner, there will be a super raffle, live and silent auctions, gun raffles, and a kids zone. Proceeds support local charities. For more information go to dswgd.com.

Clue: On Stage with the Wimberley Players

Cypress Creek Project Speaker Series

The Cypress Creek Protection Plan is meeting in person on February 22 at 11 a.m. at the Wimberley Community Center. Topics for discussion include: “Mindfulness and the Nature Connection Presentation”, by Rob Dussler, Ph.D., Chief Education Officer at The Meadows Center for Water and the Environment, updates on the Cypress Creek Project, upcoming meetings, workshops, and events, remembrance and celebration of life for Cypress Creek WPP Executive Committee Member, Joe Day.

Wimberley Area Cancer Support Group

If you have experienced the diagnosis of cancer now or in the past, we invite you to meet with the Cancer Support Group, sponsored by St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church, to talk and relax with others who share your experiences. Meetings are in the Chamber of Commerce members’ room, 11:30 AM - 1 PM on the second Wednesday of the month.
