Ozona Bank Open House

Ozona Banks is hosting a holiday open house on December 15 from 9 a.m. until close. There will be a coffee, wassail, refreshments and the Giving Tree for Deer Creek reisdents.

The Nutcracker

The Arts Alliance of Central Texas presents The Nutcracker on December 16 at 7 p.m. at the Dripping Springs ISD Performing Arts Center. Tickets can be purchased online at artsallianceofcentraltexas.org/shop.

Holiday Cheer at the Library

From noon until 3 p.m. on Friday December 17, the Wimberley Village Library will host a holiday cheer event. There will be holiday activities, family portraits, raffles, treats, and a special guest! For more information visit wimberleylibrary.org.

Princess Holiday Ball

The Central Texas Theatre Academy will host the Princess Holiday Ball including a tea party, crafts, singing and dancing led by your favorite princesses Elsa, Anna, Belle, Rapunzel and Jasmine. Tickets available at centextheatre.org.

Blue Hole Polar Bear Plunge and 5k

Blue Hole Regional Park will host the fifth annual Polar Bear Plunge and 5k on January 1st. Tickets are $25 per person, which covers admission to the 5k, a special edition Blue Hole Polar Bear Plunge t-shirt and swag bag. Those who only want to participate in the plunge do not need a ticket and the scheduled jump into Cypress Creek will be at 1:30 p.m. For more information, call (512)660-9111

Transportation Gathering

Bring your car, motorcycle, pickup, or whatever, whether classic or not to the First Baptist Church parking lot the Second Saturday of each month from 8 a.m. until 12 noon. Coffee provided.

Wimberley Area Cancer Support Group

If you have experienced the diagnosis of cancer now or in the past, we invite you to meet with the Cancer Support Group, sponsored by St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church, to talk and relax with others who share your experiences. Meetings are in the Chamber of Commerce members’ room, 11:30 AM - 1 PM on the second Wednesday of the month.

Wimberley Valley Museum

There are new hours for the Winters-Wimberley House/ Wimberley Valley Museum. It will be open on the first weekend of month (Market Days Weekend) with docents Friday and Saturday 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. starting June 4 and 5.

Farmers Market

The Wimberley Farmers Market is open every Wednesday, 3 - 6:00 p.m. in the parking lot of the visitor center, 14100 RR 12. Call (512) 264-1637 for more information.

VFW Bingo

The Wimberley VFW Post 6441 hosts bingo on Friday nights. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. with food concession. Earlybird games start at 7:15 p.m. Regular games start at 8 p.m. For more information visit texasvfw.net/bingo.

Adult Craft LAB with Wimberley Library

Adult Craft LAB is a year-round tinker and craft program for adults 18+. Classes are held virtually via Zoom. Class times: Wednesdays from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. unless otherwise noted. Class limit of 10 on a fist come, firstserved basis. Supply kits are free and included with each class. Supply kits are available inside the library in the craft area Monday-Wednesday 1-6.
