Trail of Lights

December 8-12; 15-26 Emily Ann Theater-23rd Annual Trail of Lights. The trail runs most days in December and is a walking trail through approximately 8 acres of lighted exhibits. Fire Skills and Safety training at Blue Hole

Join the Wimberley Parks and Recreation Department after dark on Dec. 9 from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Sit with a staff member as they go over how to build a proper fire, cook with fire, and cover the many myths and legends of the Southwest. Christmas Around The World!

St. Stephen Episcopal students will be putting on a light display that showcases cultural traditions of vasious countries around the world on the campus nature trail. The public is invited on Dec. 10 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. The event is free but donations are accepted.

Winter’s Eve

The Wimberley Merchants Association will host the annual Winter’s Eve on December 11 from noon until 8 p.m. on the Wimberley Square. There will be live music, across the Square and plenty more. Santa will be on hand from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. More information can be found at wimberleymerchants.com.

Symphony of Wimberley invites you to the first annual Whoville Grinchmas. Meet the Grinch himself in a fun filled event. Cookie decorating with the Grinch and fun activities and games. Serving the Holidays with Music

Starlight Symphony Orchestra presents Serving the Holidays with Music. Join for a celebration of holiday classics on Saturday, December 11 at 4 p.m. at the Wimberley First Baptist Church. The concert is free. Masks and social distancing strongly encoureaged.

Holiday Bazaar

The 15th Annual Holiday Bazaar will be held at the Wimberley Community Center on Saturday, Dec. 11 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. There will be 25 vendors offering art, clothing, home and holiday decore, books and more. Donations to the Wimberley Crisis Bread Basket.

Breakfast with Santa

The Wimberley Community Civic Club will host Breakfast with Santa on Saturday, Dec. 11 from 8:30 a.m. to noon at Scudder Primary School. There will be pancakes, sausages, crafts and a book to take home. $8 for adults. $5 for children. Music by Hill country Community Band. Tickets online at wimberleyccc.org.

Jacob Marley’s Christmas Carol

The Wimberley Players present Jacob Marley’s Christmas Carol by Tom Muls, a twist on a classic Christmas tale. The show will be on Fridays and Saturdays from 7:30 p.m. and Sundays at 2:30 p.m. from Nov. 26 and Dec. 12. Purchase tickets online at wimberleyplayers.org.

Ozona Bank Open House

Ozona Banks is hosting a holiday open house on December 15 from 9 a.m. until close. There will be a coffee, wassail, refreshments and the Giving Tree for Deer Creek reisdents.

The Nutcracker
