WVAL Juried Art Show
The Wimberley Valley Art League will host the next juried art show beginning on Nov. 18 at the Wimberley Community Center. The jurors for the hybrid show will be Amanda Smith and Kevin Tully, owners of A Smith Gallery. The show will feature 50 works by local talented artists.
Hill Country Community Band “Earth, Sky, and Space” concert

Music in the Air
The Wimberley Merchant’s Association will host Music in the Air with musicians playing outdoors around the Wimberley Square from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Nov. 20.
Annual Wimberley Quilt Guild Sale
The Wimberley Valley Quilt Guild is preparing for their annual Holiday sale to be held at the Wimberley Presbyterian Church Fellowship Hall at 956 FM 2325 from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 20th. Our members from all areas of Hays County have created beautiful hand-made items including 100 quilts and many other gift items for this sale. ALL proceeds from the sale will benefit the Hays-Caldwell Women’s Center. Please join us for this fun and worthwhile event!
Central Texas Theatre Academy One Year Anniversary
The Central Texas Theatre Academy will host a one year anniversary celebration on Nov. 21 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will be a bouncy castle, princess/superhero meet and greet, face painting and more.
Community Thanksgiving Lunch
The First Baptist Church of Wimberley is hosting a Community Thanksgiving lunch on Nov. 25. Seating will be provided both indoors and outdoors from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Seating is limited. RSVP at (512)847-9035. No cost for meals but donations are accepted.
Jacob Marley’s Christmas Carol
The Wimberley Players present Jacob Marley’s Christmas Carol by Tom Muls, a twist on a classic Christmas tale. The show will be on Fridays and Saturdays from 7:30 p.m. and Sundays at 2:30 p.m. from Nov. 26 and Dec. 1. Purchase tickets online at wimberleyplayers.org.
Chanukah Celebration
The second annual public Menorah lighting will be held at The Old Mill Store on the Square on December 2 at 5:30 p.m. hosted by the Chabad of San Marcos. There will be music, Chanukah giveaways, Hanukkah Jelly Donuts and a grand six-foot Menorah lighting

Bring your car, motorcycle, pickup, or whatever, whether classic or not to the First Baptist Church parking lot the Second Saturday of each month from 8 a.m. until 12 noon. Coffee provided.
Wimberley Area Cancer Support Group
If you have experienced the diagnosis of cancer now or in the past, we invite you to meet with the Cancer Support Group, sponsored by St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church, to talk and relax with others who share your experiences. Meetings are in the Chamber of Commerce members’ room, 11:30 AM - 1 PM on the second Wednesday of the month.
Wimberley Valley Museum
There are new hours for the Winters-Wimberley House/ Wimberley Valley Museum. It will be open on the first weekend of month (Market Days Weekend) with docents Friday and Saturday 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. starting June 4 and 5.
Farmers Market

VFW Bingo
The Wimberley VFW Post 6441 hosts bingo on Friday nights. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. with food concession. Earlybird games start at 7:15 p.m. Regular games start at 8 p.m.
