‘Trick or Treat N’ Peek’ Outdoor Festival at Alexis Pointe

Senior living community Alexis Pointe is celebrating Halloween in style for the second year. From 5 to 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, October 28 outside the community, which is located in Wimberley at 14390 Ranch Road 12, Alexis Pointe will be hosting its second annual outdoor ‘Trick or Treat N’ Peek’ festival. There will be candy stations, costumes, music, a spooky photo booth, and door prizes. The community encourages families to break out the costumes, the props, and dress to impress to make the residents of Alexis Pointe smile.

Home Tour

The Wimberley Civic Club will host the Home Tour on October 29 & 30 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. For more information visit wimberleyccc.org.

House of Fright

The Wimberley Village Library is hosting the House of Fright on October 29 and 30 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Free admission. Family Friendly.

Art at the Cedars Ranch

An art show featuring over 30 artists selling their work in various mediums will be held at The Cedars Ranch on Oct. 30 from 11-4 and Oct. 31 from 12-4. The buildings are partially open air and well ventilated. Bluebonnet Brews will have refreshments available for purchase. The event is free. Masks as well as costumes are encouraged! The location is 506 Burnett Ranch Rd. in Wimberley.

Pumpkin Patch

The Pumpkin Patch at Wimberley UMC (Corner of RR 12 & CR 1492) i OPEN! Hours are Mon-Sat from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. and Sundays from 12 p.m. – 6 p.m. through Oct. 31. Besides all sizes and shapes of pumpkins, there are games like Bingo, a Scavenger Hunt, a Wheel of Fortune, and Hide and Seek Jesus in the pumpkins. Proceeds support programs like Jacob’s Well Sunshine Club, Best Buds, WimberleyKIDZ and Vacation Bible School.

The Alzheimer’s Caregivers Support Group will meet on Thursday, Nov. 4th, at 1:00 p.m. at the Presbyterian Church Library, 956 FM 2325, Wimberley. This is an opportunity for caregivers to meet together, ask questions and share information. Please plan to join us! Big Band Fall Fest

The Wimberley Valley Big Band FALL FEST has been rescheduled to November 6 from 3-5pm on the BackStage venue located behind the Cypress Creek Cafe front. It is a free outdoor concert. Details found at wimberleyvalleybigband.org.

Daughters of the American Revolution

Birds and Brew

Are you an aspiring birder who wants to learn more about birds? Join Blue Hole Regional Park as they go on a bird outing through Blue Hole searching for feathered friends with aviary biologists from SWCA Environmental Consultants. The group will meet in the swimming area parking lot for coffee and conversation before the outing. Bring your own reusable mug or use the cups we provide. Kid-friendly binoculars will be provided but feel free to bring your own. Birds and Brew will be held on November 13 at Blue Hole at 8 a.m. and runs until 9:30 a.m.
