Early voting totals solid for Democrats in Hays County

Early voting numbers in Hays County have been strong for Democrats.

For the State Representative 45 race, Democrat Erin Zwiener received 53.54 percent of the early vote in Hays County compared to Republican Ken Strange’s 46.46 percent.  State Representative 45 will also include Blanco County.

For County Judge, Democrat Ruben Becerra has the early edge with 51.66 percent of the early vote to Republican Will Conley’s 48.34 percent.

County Commissioner for Precinct 3 is a bit closer in early voting with Republican Lon Shell leading 50.04 to Democrat Jimmy Alan Hall's 49.96

The following reaces are non-partisan: 

In WISD’s election, Lori Olson is leading Mark Bursiel 59.68 percent to 40.32 percent. Traci Mawell is leading Jeff McDorman 58.79 to 41.21 percent. Rob Campbell is leading Bex Hale 56.28 to 43.72 percent.

For Woodcreek, the top three receiving votes are elected. Aurora LeBrun leads the way with 23.36 percent of the early vote. Nancye Brinter follows with 19.86, Jeff Rasco has 19.34 as does Cyndi Jackson and Terry Eldridge 18.11 percent.
